The only thing as iconic as "Back to the Future" is its theme music.
"Alan Silvestri totally understood what we were after," said co-writer and producer Bob Gale in a recent interview celebrating the best time-travel movie ever made.
In honor of "Back to the Future Day" (October 21, according to our DeLorean's time circuits), here's a clip showing rare footage of Silvestri scoring the film and conducting the orchestra responsible for one of best movie themes in the history of always.
