New 'Three Billboards' Controversy: It Was Stolen From the Olsen Twins

Obviously this is a fan's joke. Unless it's the thread that unravels the deepest conspiracy of our time.

"Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" is a frontrunner for several Oscars this Sunday -- including probably Best Actress for Frances McDormand and Best Supporting Actor for Sam Rockwell, and possibly Best Picture. It is also the source of some controversy for Rockwell's racist cop character.

But a writer recently revealed a new controversy -- that this award-winning movie was stolen from Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen's 1998 movie "Billboard Dad."

Twitter picked up on the scent, and agreed she was on to something.
All of this beautiful truth. Find out if "Three Billboards" takes the top prize over "The Shape of Water" when the Academy Awards air this Sunday, March 4 at 8 p.m. on ABC. Here's the full list of nominations.
