As production begins on upcoming Marvel movie "Ant-Man and the Wasp," titular heroine Evangeline Lilly is getting back into fighting shape, offering fans a sneak peek at her super physique and generating some serious buzz for the sequel.
In a photo shared on social media over the weekend, Lilly can be seen showing off her impressively sculpted arms, and putting on what appear to be boxing gloves.

"#Wasp ready arms," the actress captioned the photo, which she posted on Sunday. "They better be. First official day of shooting for me tomorrow!"
As the film's title indicates, "Ant-Man and the Wasp" will see Lilly's role as Hope van Dyne -- a.k.a. The Wasp -- expanded significantly following the events of 2015's "Ant-Man." The new flick will see Hope suit up as her alter ego, and unite with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) -- a.k.a. Ant-Man -- for a new mission.
Based on Lilly's photo alone, it seems safe to say she'll be ready to take on whatever challenges the MCU throws her way.
"Ant-Man and the Wasp" is shooting right now, and also stars Michael Douglas, Michael Pena, Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, Walton Goggins, and Randall Park. It's slated to hit theaters on July 6, 2018.
