During the 2017 Oscars, host Jimmy Kimmel pulled a stunt -- he lives for pranks, as all "Jimmy Kimmel Live" fans know -- and somehow tricked some fans into walking into the live Oscars show without them knowing it was the live Oscars show.
Kimmel introduced the tourists to various stars, and two of those fans, Vicky and Gary from Chicago, used their moment in the spotlight to get Denzel Washington to "officiate" their very brief wedding. As Kimmel put it, "He's Denzel, so it's legal."
The Internet fell in love with the couple immediately:
