Deadpool is the most meta of superheroes, so it's no surprise fans want to place him in every mashup video. His fourth-wall-breaking humor adds just the right amount of spice, and after watching this fan's new video it's hard to imagine why he wasn't in "Captain America: Civil War." Maybe Iron Man just didn't want to be the second quippiest hero on screen?

A YouTuber named Zach Ace made the "Deadpool in Civil War" video and posted it September 13. It found its way to "Deadpool" actor Ryan Reynolds, who is excellent about sharing these types of meta mashups.

So he did it again:

The video, giving Deadpool and Spider-Man a chance to bond, currently has more than 310,000 views. If only it were longer...

As Entertainment Weekly noted, rights issues have kept Deadpool out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, since "Fox currently holds the rights to Deadpool, along with the X-Men and Fantastic Four characters, while Disney-owned Marvel Studios is home to Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and company." But that doesn't mean a deal can't be worked out in the future.

Speaking of other superhero movies, "Deadpool 2" producer Simon Kinberg previously told /FILM the sequel will be addressing its peers on the big screen: "I think 'Deadpool 2' will comment on anything that's happening in movies today especially in superhero movies. The sort of glut or saturation of these movies and the proliferation of sequels is definitely something we'll play around with."
