Rogen and creative partner Evan Goldberg have released the first NSFW trailer for their R-rated animated horror-comedy. The movie follows grocery store food items — hot dogs, buns, potatoes, baby carrots, etc. — after they're purchased. Only then do they realize that being chosen is not the great honor they believed. To their horror, they get peeled, boiled, sliced, and — gasp! — eaten.
The movie contains a lot of bad language ("Once you see that s---, it'll f--- you up for life," one food item moans) and food-related violence ("They're eating children!" a hot dog screams after a human consumes two baby carrots). And of course, there are the requisite hot dog and bun jokes (consider their analogs). It's an amusing premise, but can it hold up for a feature-length film?Behold, the trailer for Sausage Party!!!https://t.co/GmioRrLYff
