What some call peculiar, others may call delightful.
20th Century Fox debuted the first full trailer for "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children," Tim Burton's movie adaptation of Ransome Riggs' hit book. It tells the story of a home for kids with special powers (like invisibility and super-strength), run by Miss Peregrine (Eva Green). Young Jacob (Asa Butterfield) comes to the home and discovers that his own "peculiarity" is the key to protecting the residents from darker forces without.
Burton has such a signature style and flair, which are on full display in the trailer. The movie looks to have a delightful combination of fantastical imagery, charmingly weird characters, and goofy, gentle humor.
"Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children" opens September 30.
