Paul Feig Shares First Look at 'Ghostbusters' Proton Pack ~ amazing movies

A ghostbuster needs something to bust ghosts with, right? That's where the all-important proton pack comes in, and director Paul Feig shared a first look photo at the essential tool in his "Ghostbusters" reboot.

A day after unveiling the uniforms that Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones will wear, Feig posted an image of the proton pack to Twitter:

Like the uniforms, the pack is very similar to the original, with a few little updates. It looks dirty and worn, which indicates heavy use - ghostbusting is not a dainty business!

In the reboot movie, Wiig and McCarthy are authors who write a book claiming ghosts are real. They're laughed out of academia, until ghosts actually do invade Manhattan. So, who's the world gonna call? The two women, who team up with McKinnon and Jones to save the world. "Ghostbusters" hits theaters July 22, 2016.
