Jennifer Aniston to Play President With Tig Notaro as First Lady in Netflix Movie Comedy ~ amazing movies

Hail to Madam President and her First Lady! Jennifer Aniston will play the POTUS and Tig Notaro her wife in "First Ladies," a Netflix movie comedy.

Notaro is also co-writing the script with Stephanie Allynne. The movie follows the first female president and her wife. As the logline describes it, "When Beverly and Kasey Nicholson move into the White House, they'll prove that behind every great woman ... is another great woman."

The project is produced by Aniston, Notaro, and Allynne, along with Adam McKay, Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum and Betsy Koch for Gloria Sanchez Productions. Chris Henchy will serve as executive producer.

This deepens the relationship between Netflix and Notaro, whose show "One Mississippi" was canceled by Amazon after two seasons. Her comedy special "Happy to Be Here" debuts May 22 and she will also direct Ellen DeGeneres' upcoming Netflix special.

When "First Ladies" can start production is a big question mark, since Aniston's plate is very full. She will star alongside Reese Witherspoon in one of Apple's first scripted series, about morning show anchors.
