New 'Black Panther' Trailer Teases the Coming War

The king is dead — long live the new king of Wakanda!

Marvel released a new trailer for "Black Panther" during last night's College Football Championship Game, and much like previous spots, shows T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) returning to his country after his father's death to take up the crown.

This trailer has a bit more of Michael B. Jordan's Erik Killmonger, who challenges T'Challa for rule over the technologically-advanced Wakanda.

"I want your weapons, your secrets," Erik declares. "It's all mine now."

Like in previous trailers and TV commercials, the footage is stunning. Director Ryan Coogler seems to have crafted a world unlike any other we've seen in Marvel movies.

The movie also stars Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.

"Black Panther" opens in theaters February 16.
