The Grammy winner has long been a holiday staple thanks to her 1994 hit single "All I Want for Christmas Is You," and that could be doubly true this year. Not only will we be hearing her catchy song nonstop, we'll be able to watch an animated film based on the perennial chart topper. Carey is already hyping the project, and on Monday, she tweeted an introduction to her adorable animated character, Little Mariah.
The singer posted a picture of the character and made sure to express her enthusiasm for the upcoming Christmas flick.
"Meet Little Mariah!" she wrote. "It was a dream come true helping to create this character in my upcoming animated movie!"

The "All I Want for Christmas Is You" movie's official Twitter account also shared the picture, along with some character and plot details: "Meet Mariah. She's smart. She's considerate. She's been hounding for a dog. And this Christmas, her wish might be unleashed."
It sounds and looks like we can expect a cute story, and as a bonus, we've gotten an early reminder to be on top of our shopping."All I Want for Christmas Is You" is due out this holiday season.
