Yes, Disney is pulling all their movies from Netflix in 2019 to launch their own streaming service. But, as many speculated, that deal doesn't necessarily include Disney-distributed films by Marvel or the now-Disney-owned "Star Wars" universe.
Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos told Reuters that "we are still in active discussions" with Disney about retaining the rights to stream Marvel and Lucasfilm releases on Netflix.
Disney Chief Executive Bob Iger announced the company hasn't decided where those films will end up, which means they might be staying on Netflix. Or the new Disney service. Or still another streaming service!
Currently, you can stream Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War" and "Doctor Strange" on Netflix, and of course Netflix-exclusive Marvel series including "Jessica Jones" and "Daredevil."
You can also stream "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" and "Star Wars: The Clone Wars."
Only time will tell where you'll be able to watch them two years from now.
