The Washington, D.C. native appeared in such films as "After Hours" and "Big." In 1999, Heard earned an Emmy nomination for his guest starring role as a corrupt police officer on "The Sopranos."
His more recent credits include an April 2017 guest spot on WGN's "Outsiders," as well as roles on "Elementary" and "Modern Family."
