The resort unveiled plans Thursday to give park visitors an extra happy Christmas this year. From Nov. 18 to Jan. 6, there will be a Macy's parade daily, featuring characters from "Despicable Me," "Shrek," and more. On top of that, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will debut big, festive changes.
Decorations will hang around the streets and storefronts of Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade, and special effects and high-tech projection mapping will light up Hogwarts at night. Meanwhile, vendors will sell the food and drinks served over the holidays in the books and movies. With themed entertainment promised as well, it sounds like the only thing possibly missing is a Weasley sweater.
