April's opening weekend is a hodgepodge of releases. The geriatric heist comedy "Going in Style," animated family film "Smurfs: The Lost Village," and quirky sci-fi movie "Colossal" all lead the pack on April 7th
April 14th zooms into view with biopic "The Lost City of Z" in limited release, and speeds up with the latest entry in the blockbuster Fast and Furious franchise: "The Fate of the Furious."
April 21st slows down a bit with shoot-em-up "Free Fire," jealousy thriller "Unforgettable," and the mini-Good Will Hunting heartwarmer "Gifted."
April ends with sci-fi thriller "Rupture," hard luck sci-fi drama "Sleight," sugar-momma comedy "How to Be a Latin Lover," and the Tom Hanks / Emma Watson tech thriller, "The Circle," all hitting theaters April 28th.
