First 'Wonder Woman' & 'Justice League' Trailers Wow Even DC Doubters ~ amazing movies

Well, that's neat. Superhero fans celebrated Nerd Christmas over the weekend, and Warner Bros. was an especially generous Santa Claus. San Diego Comic-Con was once again packed with trailers, panels, and awesomeness. And even DC Extended Universe cynics -- unimpressed after "Man of Steel" and "Batman v Superman" -- found themselves cautiously optimistic after the first "Wonder Woman" and "Justice League" trailers. Non-cynics found themselves darn near crying in excitement.

Here's the "Wonder Woman" trailer, starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, and Lucy Davis:

And here's the first look at "Justice League," with Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher):
Ezra Miller got himself trending on Twitter -- in a good way -- thanks to his new version of The Flash (he also worse Gandalf cosplay to the Comic-Con panel) and fans seemed very happy with the mix of humor, action, and chemistry between the characters.

However Wonder Woman and Justice League shake out in theaters, DC Films has course corrected on marketing. Those were good trailers.

DC is coming off a rough ride in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," but there are high hopes for "Suicide Squad," which opens in August, and also for 2017's "Wonder Woman" and "Justice League," which all look a little more ... fun? ... than BvS.

"Wonder Woman" opens in June 2017, "Justice League" opens November 2017.
