The first full-length trailer for "Green Room" debuted today, and it's got some tantalizing glimpses of Patrick Stewart breaking bad as the villain in the horror-thriller.
The movie centers around young punk rockers -- Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, and Callum Turner -- who take a gig at a remote Oregon venue. They get way more than they bargained for, though, when they stumble on some neo-Nazis committing murder backstage. Stewart plays the ruthless, violent owner of the club, who's willing to do whatever it takes to shut them up for good.
It's a nice departure for the veteran actor -- we're used to seeing him in more stately, dignified roles. The movie has been getting great reviews at Sundance, and, judging by the trailer, it's an action-packed, tense rollercoaster ride. Sign us up.
"Green Room" opens in limited release on April 15 and wide release on April 29.
