DC's 'Justice League: Part One' Announces Filming Start Date

Move over, Marvel, the DC Universe is juicing up for justice in a big way.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is coming out March 25, and just a couple of weeks after that, Warner Bros. will start filming "Justice League: Part One." Director told Entertainment Weekly they start shooting April 11 at the Warner Bros. Leavesden studios in England, where "Wonder Woman" is currently filming for a June 2017 release. "Justice League" will be released in two parts, with the first scheduled for a November 17, 2017 release.

Snyder talked to EW about the three-year gap between "Man of Steel" and "Batman v Superman," due to creative planning for all of the stories to come. "The studio really wants us to try and pace it up, as far as — now we have an idea where we're going." He added that "It was a little bit of an 'about time' moment" for "Justice League," but noted that it's not just an easy thing, creatively, to get all of the superheroes together in a world where they can exist. But now the table has been set, and "Justice League" is almost ready to roll.

Here's the lineup that was announced by DC back in 2014:

March 25, 2016 - "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice"
August 5, 2016 - "Suicide Squad"
June 23, 2017 - "Wonder Woman"
November 17, 2017 - "The Justice League: Part One"
March 23, 2018 - "The Flash

June 14, 2019 - "The Justice League: Part Two"
April 3, 2020 - "Cyborg"
