She's on her way! Principal photography just started on the solo
"Wonder Woman" movie, which is scheduled for a June 23, 2017 release. Star
Gal Gadot shared the first photo on Twitter, as Warner Bros. released more details on the cast.
Here's the pic, and you can just make out London's Big Ben in the background:
Epic! Gadot's Wonder Woman will first appear in
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" in March 2016. Her own movie, Warner Bros. revealed, is being filmed on location in the United Kingdom, France, and Italy; and the cast includes Chris Pine (as Captain Steve Trevor), Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya, and Lucy Davis.
Patty Jenkins is directing the film,
taking over for Michelle MacLaren, who dropped out from the classic "creative differences."
Are you excited to see more from "Wonder Woman" or are you curbing your enthusiasm until after "Batman v Superman" is out?
