Sam Smith's Bond Theme Song For 'Spectre' Drops September 8: Report ~ amazing movies

Adele sang the theme song for Daniel Craig's last James Bond movie, "Skyfall," so who is following that act for "Spectre"? It's reportedly Smith. Sam Smith. And, according to HitFix, we'll hear the new song tomorrow, aka Tuesday, September 8.

Here's the scoop:

HitFix can exclusively report that speculation will come to an end on Tuesday morning, when the "SPECTRE" theme song will be released according to sources connected to the films release. Ticket pre-sales for the film begin that morning, and there's no better way to light the fuse and drive audiences crazy than releasing the new theme song. That's not true of every movie, of course, but when you're talking about James Bond, there are certain things that are key to each one, and it's arguable that the theme song is one of the two or three most memorable things about each movie.

There were rumors that maybe Ellie Goulding would be singing the next Bond song, but here's a strong SPECTRE hint from Sam Smith himself:

Back in September, "Spectre" director Sam Mendes told BBC Radio the theme song was just finished. "I can say that the song's been recorded and it's fantastic and I'm very excited about it." He also said "Spectre" is a bigger movie than "Skyfall" and was shot in more places. "It's been an enormous undertaking."

"Spectre" is scheduled for release November 6, 2015.
