We've always been a bit jealous of Hogwarts students and their amazing dining options in the Great Hall, and now, fans of the "Harry Potter" series have the opportunity to experience a magical Christmas of their own.
Warner Bros. Studio in London is
hosting a Christmas feast on the film's set on December 3, where diners can enjoy a sumptuous feast in the actual Great Hall room seen in the "Potter" flicks. Here's more scoop from the official WB website:
The Hogwarts dining room will be dressed for the occasion with the original props used in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, including flaming Christmas puddings and hams studded with cherries. A wand will be waiting for you at your table and you'll enjoy the first two courses of a delicious Christmas dinner with all the trimmings on the authentic set (vegetarian option also available).
In addition to dinner, the event also includes a studio tour, with stops at other iconic sets from the franchise, including Platform 9 ¾, Diagon Alley, the Gryffindor common room, and the Weasleys' home, The Burrow. The evening will be capped with cocktails -- and yes, butterbeer -- and dancing.
It all sounds pretty wonderful to us, though the $350 price tag is a bit steep. But that may be a small price to pay for the chance to live out your Hogwarts fantasies for the evening.
