Peter Landesman ("Parkland") directed "Concussion," which was produced by Ridley Scott, based on the 2009 GQ article "Game Brain."

"Concussion" opens on Christmas Day, so maybe we can expect Will Smith's name to come up on Oscar lists, for his portrayal of the Nigeria-born doctor. The movie also stars Alec Baldwin, Luke Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Arliss Howard, Paul Reiser, David Morse, and Albert Brooks.Watch the trailer.
