Out with the spandex, in with the Spanx.
It's tempting to think of fall as the movie season where superhero films clear out of the multiplex, leaving it to grown-up fare -- Oscar hopefuls that are more about character than action. Not so this year.
Sure, there'll be plenty of mature movies from brand-name directors like
Spielberg and
Tarantino. But there are also several eagerly-awaited installments of blockbuster franchises, including the next James Bond, the final "
Hunger Games," and, oh yeah, the first new episode of "
Star Wars" in 10 years. Whatever your taste, there are lots of fall movies to get excited about. From "
Mockingjay" to "
Spectre," here are 36 films you need to see.
