Turns out those school lunch chicken nuggets we had as kids really were that bad.
In the new trailer for
"Cooties," the horror comedy that debuted at Sundance, those nuggets are the cause of a zombie outbreak - but only among the children. The teachers, having all passed puberty, are immune, but that doesn't make them safe! Because kids can be VICIOUS. Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson, Alison Pill, and other educators team up to escape the school before their students eat their brains.
The movie received very favorable reviews at Sundance, and the trailer looks smart, funny, fun, and a little unseemly (adults bashing in kids' heads) without going over the line. Count us in to go back to school - though, we'll pass on the chicken nuggets.
"Cooties" opens in theaters September 18.
