IMAX and Walt Disney Studios have renewed their agreement, with a multi-picture deal starting this year and extending through 2017. This means Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm movies -- including "Star Wars: Episode VII," the standalone "Star Wars" movie "Rogue One," "Guardians of the Galaxy 2," "Toy Story 4," "Finding Dory," "Marvel's Ant-Man," "Thor: Ragnarok," "Doctor Strange," "Captain America: Civil War," etc. -- will all be available for viewing in IMAX.



Alan Bergman, president of The Walt Disney Studios said in a statement, "The pairing of high-quality content with premium experiences like IMAX creates an incredible moviegoing experience for audiences. As we look forward to an extraordinary collection of films in the years ahead, The Walt Disney Studios is thrilled to expand our long-term relationship with IMAX to bring the best from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm to some of the most advanced theaters worldwide."
