Ryan Gosling Is Hosting the 'SNL' Season Premiere ~ amazing movies

Hello, Ryan Gosling! The "Blade Runner 2049" star will host the upcoming season premiere of "Saturday Night Live," with musical guest Jay-Z.

The announcement was made during last night's "Weekend Update: Summer Edition."

Gosling, who last hosted in 2015 where the jokes about his Canadian heritage were plentiful, will host the September 30 episode, which is the Season 43 premiere.

Gosling will be, of course, promoting his highly anticipated sci-fi sequel, "Blade Runner 2049," which opens October 6. Expect jokes about whether or not he's really an android -- those abs are suspiciously perfect!

We'll also be holding our breath for a dance number.

And Gosling breaking character and cracking up, as he did in this skit where he played an alien abductee.
