Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt, the two Hollywood stars you most want to be your best friends, are starring together in the sci-fi romantic drama "Passengers," and Entertainment Weekly has a first look at the movie.
The movie is set on an interstellar spaceship bound for a colony on a planet that's 120 years away. The 5,000 passengers are put into a deep sleep, but Lawrence and Pratt mistakenly wake up 90 years too early. They fall in love, of course, but then the ship starts to malfunction, and they become the mission's only hope. Director Morten Tyldum gushed about his stars in an interview with EW. "I honestly couldn't ask for a better cast. They're so great together, and both of them are so hard-working. They take the characters so seriously and bring so much to the roles with charm and intelligence and charisma. They really went for it and it is phenomenal to watch."
"Passengers" opens in theaters December 21.
